Families have been enjoying vacations at Ogascanan for many years; a great place for Dads and Moms to bring their parents and their kids. Families will want to know that the best time to come is mid-July to mid-August. The fishing is consistent, and the biting insects will mostly be gone. This is the time of year when we expect our nicest weather.

Ogascanan has something for all people and ages. Certainly, the fish! Our remote wilderness location also offers unsurpassed peace, quiet, tranquility and privacy. Take a book and relax on one of our many gorgeous white sand beaches while the young ones enjoy the cleanest water you can imagine. Here it's easy to walk where no one has ever walked before. Perhaps you can photograph some local wildlife along the way. Breathe some of the freshest, most pure air in the world courtesy of the surrounding great Canadian Boreal Forest. Here, you can truly get away from it all.
