Situated in a restricted access zone- NOT free territory– and accessible only by a network of forestry roads, Lake Ogascanan Lodge is a dusty 2hr drive to the nearest store. We’re the only lodge on the lake, so you’re free to fish every bay and honey-hole with none of the boundaries commonly found on lakes with multiple lodges. It’s exactly the way a remote lake should be.

The math is simple: fewer fishermen = better fishing. Our season lasts only 16 weeks. And the rest of the year? NO FISHING. Ogascanan is not a “free access” lake and is part of a conservation zone which demands the release of both small and large walleye by law. This, combined with our distance from civilization and being the sole outfitter and land owner on the lake ensures the quality of our fishery remains high, season after season.
